Customizing the system or adding new features is much easier than with many other POS solutions I've worked with. It's obvious that a lot of attention has been given to the project structure and maintainability. One feature I would really love to see is **full café and restaurant support**. Specifically, it would be great to have a complete recipe/inventory consumption system where each menu item deducts its ingredients automatically from stock. For example: * Mango Smoothie → deduct 80g Mango + 150ml Milk + 20g Sugar + Ice. * Latte → deduct one Espresso Shot + 200ml Milk. * Cappuccino → deduct one Espresso Shot + 180ml Milk. This would allow café owners to manage their inventory accurately without manually adjusting stock after every sale. Support for ingredients, recipes, units (grams, milliliters, pieces), and automatic stock deduction would make Hyper POS an excellent solution not only for retail stores but also for cafés, coffee shops, restaurants, juice bars, and bakeries. I believe adding these features would significantly expand the platform's audience and make it one of the most complete open-source POS systems available.
